how to auto importing images from a folder?

  • Is there a way to automatically import images to WP?
    The scenario would be the following:

    1) A Photoshopper would save edited images to folder

    2) WordPress would import the images from that folder

    3) Then an editor/writer would find the images in a media/image gallery

    Is it possible?
