I am trying to set it up so when someone uploads a picture and description, a post is generated with the picture included. So far I can only get the basic post with description and no picture. The picture does get added to the media library though. I probably missed something simple but so far have not been able to find it. The code I am using is: [fu-upload-form form_layout=”post_image”]
I have also tried the basic code: [fu-upload-form]
I would appreciate your help with this, thank you.

Currently there’s no way to do it automatically. Image gets attached to the post, so when you go to post edit screen, you can click “Add media” button and select “Uploaded to this post” and you will see the image.

Let me know if that makes sense

Thank you for the quick response. Are there any plans to add the feature in a future update? Do you happen to know of any other way to do the same? Thanks again!

What exactly your use case is? Is it adding the image as embedded or insterting it in gallery? If you have the gallery shortcode in your post content, then it’ll be updated to display the new image once you approve the image. If you want the images as embedded, I might consider adding the feature in the next major release (that is, v0.6)

I want to add the image as embedded. The idea is for people to upload pictures of places they visit and post a short comment about it. Is there any chance of geocode data being included with the image? That is the basic concept anyway, there is more to it, but that is the essential info I can share at this time.

Gotcha, I’ll try to include that in the next major update.

In the mean time, try gallery shortcode. If you use gallery for your case, it’s going to be more flexible and powerful.

Thanks I hadn’t thought of using the Gallery. I will check it out. Do you think the next update will be in months or maybe next year? Thanks again!

?? In a month for sure. I tend to update often, but that depends on my workload.

Sounds great, I will keep my eyes open for it. Thanks for a great product. I look forward to the updates!
