Hi there guys, quick question, is there a way to automatically, every time my client posts a new podcast episode on anchor this is posted in his website? Right now every time he publishes a new episode I have to re-enter the migration information.

    Thanks!

  • I want to know this as well.

I’m not a Blubrry admin, but I’ll try to answer your question.

First, you should have Category, Taxonomy, or Post Type podcasting set up in your Settings panel. If you are blogging your podcasts, you would set up a “Category” to tag any post that is a podcast and that file will be added to your RSS feed. It looks like, on your page, there is no way to subscribe to the podcast. You have files in a panel at the top of the page running down as a list. If that panel is generated via RSS feed, then it should automatically add the latest podcast to that panel. If not, you’ll always need to manually add the latest podcast to the top of that panel. It seems as if whoever developed that panel didn’t create it such that it pulls the podcasts from the feed and automates the last podcast published to the top of the column. I would turn to your developer to see if you can change the method in which to add the latest podcast. Instead of having to add it manually, it should add it from the podcast feed.
