Hello and well done for this plugin, certainly the best in its class to date.

I would like to know if it is possible to bypass the cookie wall. Let me explain, although in GDPR (Europe) it is almost mandatory, I was wondering if there was a way to limit it to a banner, which would automatically validate on scroll or a period of time.

Your plugin does not allow it and therefore we automatically end up with a wall.

This cookie wall is penalizing for my visitors as for me and I would like to take the risk of limiting myself to a banner with automatic validation in case of scroll or 30 seconds.

In advance, thank you for your response

    Hi @wpformation,

Thanks, I visited your website and I assume you will be dealing with updated CNIL guidelines, an earlier question was raised an answered about the specific configuration in Complianz. Which can be found here; https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/france-new-law. This however means the proposed risk with the current state is less than with the newer, stricter guidelines.

We can always create a custom script, that will accept all cookies on scroll or after 5 seconds, but before doing so I really wanted to share the above before going this route.

    Let me know!

    regards Aert

Thank you for your feedback, I already managed to do what I wanted to, thanks to your advice. However a script to close the banner on scroll or a timer would be a significant bonus. I do know what it means regarding to France new law.

And if it was possible to have an option so that cookies are accepted by default, because many users do not choose anything and therefore no more statistics concerning them

    Regards,
    Fabrice

    Hi @wpformation,

I checked the website but saw that Complianz had been disabled.

Feel free to reach out at any time for assistance, we would be happy to create a script that closes the banner on scroll/time-out.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hello Jarno,
    Thanks for your reply !

Yes I disabled Complianz because more than half of my Google Analytics statistics were not counted ^^

That’s why I wouldn’t put a cookie notice plugin back in place before I have this type of script available.

    Regards,
    Fabrice

    Hi @wpformation,

You can contact us complianz.io/contact/. You will be able to download the 5.0 version, this will give you the opportunity to update the screenshots, as we have updated the UX.

We are working on the script today, it proofed a bit more difficult due to setting the statust to accept.

    regards Aert
