How to avoid cropping thumbnails?

Hi!
I use this nice plugin on a couple of my site. It works quite well. I didn’t realize how to avoid cropping of thumbnails? In the Media Settings of my site cropping turned off. In the plugins settings there is no any option to set.https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/recent-posts-widget-extended/
