How to avoid showing WooThemes Testimonial at first page

I am using Canvas and WooThemes Testimonial. I have added the Testimonials widget to “Primary” and this works fine for all 2-col and 3-col pages, where testimonials will show in the sidebar. There are no widgets added in the Widgets/Homepage. But testimonials also suddenly appear on the 1-col frontpage just above footers, how can I avoid that?
