• Hello Amazing world ??

i just want to know if there is a way to avoid WordPress stripping EXIF image metadata.

i am adding images to wordpress, when i browse the image or when google crawl them, i got a blank empty exif data, when i go to file manager and download the image, it still the same image i have uploaded with all the exif dat.

could you please help me out ?

This is not the default WordPress behaviour: at least that’s not my experience. Pass the image I just uploaded to a new sandbox site (default theme, no plugin active) through your favourite EXIF data extraction tool, AND you’ll see there’s a lot of EXIF data there (anything missing was not available in the original image.)

So if your EXIF data is getting stripped off, something else must be doing this. Do you run any image optimization (or general WordPress optimization) plugins? Are you serving your images from a CDN?

    Hello George,
    thanks a lot for reply.

i have nothing to optimize the images nor caching plugin,
am using cloudflare, and only apply cache everything on uploads.

do you think that might be the issue
