How to block non-necessary cookies

    I used https://www.cookieserve.com to identify cookies and then added them to cookie list in the plugin. I also enabled non-necessary cookies in the plugin. Do I need to do anything else to block non-necessary cookies if the user rejects them? The Cookie Law Info User Guide says ‘To block non-necessary cookies you need to add the cookie scripts to this section and remove them from the website source code.’ Not having much coding and website development experience can you help me what I should do exactly? Thank you for your help in advance. It is a great plugin.

    Hi @yxda,

    Please add the google analytics script in the non-necessary cookie script input field as explained in the article here. Also, ensure that the code is not added directly in the theme or via any other plugins.

    For example, if you are having a google analytics script, you might have added the script in header.php of the theme. In that case, you must remove that code from there and add it via our plugin as shown in the article.
