How to block some names in the searchbar (in my database)?

    Hello Tobias!

    I have a question, which is going to a bit tricky. Thanks to your Plugin “Tablepress”, I managed to do an interlaced database.
    On my website, it is now possible to search for a cryptocurrency. In addition the appropriate exchange will be proposed.

    Now I have the problem, that if I search for ETH (short for ETHEREUM), the coin TETHER is proposed as well. (tETHer)
    Also if i search for DASH, the coins COINDASH and DASHCOIN are proposed.

    Thats why I wanted to ask you, if there is something like an IF REQUEST, or if there is any chance to filter this words out and make some exceptions for these Coins. For instance: I would like to inscribe manually, that if someone searches for ETH, only ETH is going to be proposed. (Blocking Tether as suggestion, if I search for ETH)

    If we could solve this, it would raise my website to a new level. I hope you have a suggestion or an idea to solve this problem. I’m really helpless at the moment.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Unfortunately, I don’t know a solution to this, sorry ??
    Your only choice probably is to manually program the search function using the API functions of the DataTables JS library, so that it does exact cell matching.
