How to block User Agent

    I want to block some bots that are hitting my site hard. In Ban Users->Ban User Agents, what format do I enter?

    For example, in my visitor logs I’m seeing:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 7.0;) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Mobile Safari/537.36 (compatible; PetalBot;+https://webmaster.petalsearch.com/site/petalbot)

    Is this what I add to Ban User Agents, or do I just add PetalBot:

    PetalBot

    You’ll want to enter the User Agent String, so please use the one you’re seeing on the logs: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 7.0;) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Mobile Safari/537.36 (compatible; PetalBot;+https://webmaster.petalsearch.com/site/petalbot)
