• I realize there’s been numerous posts explaining how to do this, but I am a bit of a beginner at this, so I’d really appreciate if someone could explain it to me.

I’m trying to make the contents in the primary main navigation menu bold, but I am not having much success at it.

From what I understand, I have to go to: Dashboard > Appearance > Editor, and then from all that code (in the style.css box), I have to go somewhere and physically add in something like font-weight:bold;.

The problem however, is that I don’t seem to be able to find where I have to place this.

I’d really appreciate it if anyone could help me out here.

    Thanks in advance!!!

  • I am trying to do the same thing to my site with no luck. I want to bold and center the menu text. I added the Custom CSS Manager and I had created a child for the theme since I moved the header above the menu. I really have no idea what I am doing.

I followed your instructions above; going to inspect element and i can make the additions easily there but i have no idea how/where to add those changes so they are there.

This is what I added to the Plug in and the style.css in the child folder

Hi wilk1069 – CSS is entirely site/theme specific, so copying code from another thread does not typically work well – best to start your own thead per https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Where_To_Post
