How to build a page?

So I have this website which was built by somebody else using wordpress and I have never used wordpress before.

How exactly do I get to the page section in which I can modify the pages and start changing things in it?

When I go to page edit it doesn’t give me any “visual” options to start moving things around.

I see the visual composer plugin is part of the website.

Where can I go to start rebuilding the pages with this plugin?
