Hey,
Considering the fact that we haven’t done as much work as we would want to do on the plugin for the past year, we thought it makes more sense to stop selling it to new users, at least until we get a better understanding on where the plugin can be and how fast.
We didn’t announce it yet the existing customers since nothing much changed for you @jerrry, we would continue to fix bugs as they are reported, we won’t probably add any major features and for that, we’ll automatically cancel the auto-renewals for everyone. You would still be able to renew if you want, for bug fixing and support, but jus that won’t happen automatically.
For people like you who just renewed and they didn’t get the notification, we’ll be happy to refund of course.
We’re trying to make the process as smooth as possible, that’s why as a first step we’ve stopped selling to new users, even if the plugin is actively supported and worked on, just to don’t create false expectations on the product development speed. WPPR is still a strong product that we’re using across all our blogs, just that without planning lots of features for next year, we thought it might not be fair to continue to sell it.
