How to Call in Post URL & Title

    Hey yall

    I am trying to call in the current post URL and page title. Ive heard rumors going around that you can use some stuff like this (for the title):

    <?php the_title();?>

    however– i popped that puppy into my post, and it did not perform as promised.

    what am i missing here? any one have pointers?
