    Sorry that you ran into issues here!

    There are several fields that are always required by AWPCP–title, category and email. We can’t make it optional, because we use the email to send your access keys under some circumstances and we send you ad notices under all circumstances. It’s not optional and can’t be made otherwise.

    This is core functionality of the plugin–to send you notices about things. No email = no notifications.

    Does that make more sense?

    I hear what you’re saying–AWPCP might not be the right fit for your project if that’s the case. Ours is an email-based system and intended for more self-service, online use instead of a phone-based case.

    Maybe another solution would work better for you. Because this is core to AWPCP, it’s unlikely to change anytime in the immediate future.
