How to Center Image Caption, please?

    .post p.wp-caption-text {text-align:center;padding:3px;background-color:#eee;border:solid 1px #999;font-size:11px;}
.aligncenter {text-align:center;margin:0 auto;}

    Thank you, Vodien.com Hosting, you helped me fix my problem! The shaded caption area was “unattached” to the image frame so I removed the shading colour; it now looks much better – and in the centre:
