How to change author’s name and remove dates on posts?

How do you change the author’s name on posts?

Just create a new user on your site and then select that user for the particular post. If you’re not familiar with managing users in WordPress, you can find more information here.

And how do you remove the date from posts?

You could hide the date with a line of CSS:

.entry-meta-date { display: none; }

You can add custom CSS code in your WordPress dashboard under Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS or by using plugins for adding code snippets.

As an alternative, the premium version of MH Newsdesk has an option included to disable post meta data, among several other additional features, options and custom widgets to configure your website.
