How to change background and other styles of the sub-menu?

Hello, I love this theme. However, I am trying to figure out where the styles are to be able to change the background color of the sub menu? I also am looking to turn off the animation when someone hovers over a nav item. I dont want it to bounce the way it does, I dont want it to do anything actually I just want a normal hover with an active class behind it. But my biggest issue is changing the background color of the sub menu.
