how to change background color of red top bar?

    Hi, how can you change background color of red top bar where you have contact info?

    I found this code:

    .top-bar {
    background-color: #fff;
    border-bottom: 1px solid #f2f2f2;
}

    but changing color won′t work (also current color that code has ain′t even red, so where is the right place to make changes?)
