How to change background color of footer widget

  • Hi there!

    Just wondering if someone could help me (via custom css) change the background color for non-homepage footer widgets. I was able to change the color of the homepage footer widgets but no look with other pages.

    WP: 3.9.1
    Theme: Responsive (CyberChimps) – most current

    My site is currently under construction, but if need to, I can put it off. Please note I used the following to change background (to white) of homepage footer widgets:

    #footer {
    background-color: #ffffff
    }
