How to change colors or new theme?

  • Hi. I just want to know if I can change the colors (background, etc) of the WordPress Default 1.6 theme. Or if not, I’m looking for a simple theme, just like the default one, but with darker colors, like black.

  • That default theme is graphics-dependent, so no, it would not be a good choice. There’s one theme I’ve always liked and it’s a dark one, and it lets you change out the graphics with ease. And of course, now I cannot remember the name of it. ??

    I’ve revamped one of my old themes, it’s very plain, it’s called Zen Ninja and it’s just the dark version of Zen Minimalist. I haven’t released it publicly yet, but you can view it here, and contact me off list for a Zip file. It’s pretty plain and is easy to customize. I’ll be releasing it in a few days, just haven’t done the readme stuff yet. ??
