How to change content area background color

  • Hello, and thank you for this very nice theme. I am having trouble with changing the content area background color. Ive tried in the style.css around line 800
    # – Site Layout
    .site-content line but it isn’t showing up. There must be an override somewhere with color: var(–????-color); code somewhere, but i Can’t find it.

    I also tried changing on the home page edit screen but it still shows white background color in between my content blocks. I would like to change the entire content background color to a dark grey and the text to white. Any help with this please? Thank you very much.
