How to Change Content & Sidebar Width in Responsive Theme

  • Hi

    how i can adjust the width of content & main sidebar in responsive theme.

    I want to make readable area bigger (reduce background size) and also increase the sidebar size accordingly.

    I want below page to view properly. On right side main sidebar widget is used and for left column, I have done through a plugin (Easy WP Columns)

    I have tried but I got following error.

    ERROR: You do not have permission to create new topics.

    Is there anyone who can guide me please.

    You would need to rewrite a bunch of the CSS code – so that all the pieces of the new layout fit together correctly. With a responsive theme, that can be fairly complicated if you’re not quite familiar with how CSS works.

    Make sure that any changes are made in a Child Theme or only in custom CSS so that you don’t lose all the work when the theme is updated.
