    Hi,
I want to change the default text Powered by WordPress MU and WP.MU appearing in the bottom of a WordPress installation but am unable to locate the file – have even used reveal template. I will appreciate if anyone could guide me through the process, am using an installation by WPMUDev – may be it helps.
Thanking in anticipation, the URL is https://ip-lawyer.legalbloggers.co.uk/

I was about to say “It’s in your theme.” but … When you say you’re using an install by WPMUDev, do you mean they’re hosting you? If so, you need to ask them how to remove it. It’s their server.

Yes, it was initially installed by the Psek People.

WPMUDev is not Psek (last I checked). They may be using it, but it’s not the same thing really ??

Either way, you’ve used someone’s installer, and I can’t even begin to guess what they might have done. If it’s not in your template files, you’ll have to check with them to see how it’s setup that way.

This is NOT a standard WP install, so we really can’t help much. 3rd party installers are on their own a lot of the time.

Contacted the WP MU people and the all it required was to remove a file wp.mu.php from a folder named mu-plugins.
I instead opted to put my personal hyper-link in that.
Thanks for all your kind advice.

They use Psek for their wp.mu install service.
