How to change domain name ?

  • Hello,

    I have a query
    If I install WP 3.0 for domain-1.com
    and build a site for this domain

    After a time of developing, I login to host panel and backup database (file *.sql)
    and change host but I use a new domain domain-2.com

    Can I do that ?

    Summary: I use old domain and develop, after that I want to change
    to new domain but still want to keep all content of old site.
    Can I use a new domain for a old data/content site ?
    = change domain for the old site ?
