How to Change Featured Box Icons

  • I understand this theme is using vector icons from Font Awesome that simply pull the icon when you apply the name of a specific icon (fa-pencil)… But how/ where can I change these?

  • Hi,
    You can upload desired image from Theme Options “Appearance >>Invert Lite Options >>Home Featured Box” and if you want to use icons than use child theme to customize front-mid-box.php

    you can change this at page front-mid-box.php in the wp-content\themes\invert-lite\includes

    Same issue: use FA icons for Home Featured Box Image.

    Here’s what I’ve done, but didn’t work:

    1. I downloaded invert-lite/includes/front-mid-box.php. Located the FA icons and changed them to the FA icons I want to use.

    2. I made the following hierarchy in the child theme: in the child theme, invert-lite-child/includes/ and uploaded my new front-mid-box.php file.

    I suppose the question is how does one overwrite this particular file since it’s not located in the parent’s root directory, rather it is located in the parent’s subdirectory?
