How to change featured photos size

  • Hi, I want to know how to make all featured photos that are on the start page the same size. They are all different size and I have no idea how to change that. You can see it here: https://www.diybeautyideas.com/ it doesn’t look nice this way. I would be much grateful if someone can help

  • You can change your settings in the admin:

    Settings > Media > and check the box that says “Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional)”.

    Then you’ll need to regenerate your thumbnails.

    You may not like how they auto-crop your images, though. When all the images are different proportions like yours, you may decide instead to manually crop directly in the media folder only for the thumbnail size.

    I think I prefer the various sizes like your site is now rather than the exact same size that are oddly cropped. Just my opinion, though.

    I used this plugin and I didn’t like how small my photos turn out with it. But I will give it a try again. I like all photos the same size. Thank you for your help

    You can make your images any size you want. Change the dimensions in your settings.
