How to change image captions so they're readable?

    Love the theme!

    However, the captions on the images in the post are too light to read.

    I looked in the colors panel to customize the captions and didn’t see an options there either.

    I don’t like the captions in ALL CAPS. didn’t see an option to change the all caps to sentence case.

    I’ve tried adding CSS code (in the CSS editor under Appearance) to change the color and to make the text not all capitals, but it doesn’t work.

    I checked the following post on my iPad and the captions are still white and all caps.

    Any ideas?

    sorry for late reply…and thanks for the link, except you are behind a maintenance mode ??

    As for caption colours…oops, I obviously missed that in the option settings. There is one way to change it though without having to wait for the next update.

    Create some custom CSS using a plugin like Simple Custom CSS (don’t do this to the actual theme stylesheet though) and do this:

    For Caption Text and to change from uppercase:

    .wp-caption-text {
    color: #fff;
    text-transform: none;
}

    PS: I’m still building the site.. the link was suppose to go to a specific post.

    I added the above code to my simple custom CSS template but my captions to pictures are all white (invisible) anything I should be doing differently?

If you can repost yours, I will be more than happy to help you out with this one. When you repost it, could you also (if possible) provide a link to where I can see this? I will check out the code.
