How to change included auto generated image urls?

  • I have a private family blog using standard HTACCESS authentication on the blog directory ‘news’. However when you access the site (www.domain.com/news) and authenticate, it asks for the username and password again when it tries to load the images in my posts which are referenced without the ‘www’. These were included using WP2.0’s built in image uploader. Is there any way I can change it so that when it inserts these pictures it includes the ‘www’ before the domain name?

    The WordPress Address and Blog Address include the ‘www’, but they weren’t when I first set up the site.
