How can i change following setting through yoast plugin.

    1) <meta property=”og:type” content=”object” /> this tag shows for categories and tag pages.

    2) <meta property=”og:type” content=”website” /> this tag shows for homepage.

    3) <meta property=”og:type” content=”article” />

currently when i debug my url in fb tool its shows 1st option because index only taxonomy pages. I want to change from 1st to 3rd option for all my taxonomy pages.

Also want to know, how can i change from option 1st to 2nd option for total taxonomy pages.

Can anyone help me, how to do that in yoast?

There is not currently an option in the plugin to modify the og:type value based of these conditions. We do have additional information on implementing Open Graph here: https://yoast.com/facebook-open-graph-protocol/

However, unfortunately we can’t offer support on custom code. Since we don’t want to take the risk that we break your website by suggesting incorrect or incomplete code, we cannot advise you on how to make such changes. Maybe someone watching these forums can assist you further, but if your topic is inactive for 7 days, we’ll mark it as resolved to keep the overview.

    Thank you for your understanding.
