    I am using /%category%/%postname%/ permalink structure rytnow. But i want change it using with %postname%/ permalink structure without loosing my traffic so, how can I change permalink structure please explain me.

    I google it but all are talking about dean lees permalink migration plugin but That plugin is not available ryt now. So, please suggest me another way.

  • There’s one solution offered by famous Joost de Valk.
    He created a tool that generate redirects from your old permalinks to your new ones.You just add a piece of code in your htaccess, generated by that tool. More info here.
    Please, read the comments and use at your own risk. It would be best to backup your database and htaccess before doing anything.

    @media x. I have one issue… After using your tip my posts link working great but my internal links like themes Archiev,tags and pagination links are not working ,Then I am afraid so, I revert all links as it is /%category%/%postname%/ now i have lots of duplication and 404 error problem ca google index it, so please tell me how can i safely make as my url permalink like /%postname%/.
    as your description tool working great but only for post. if you have an idea pls suggest me..
