How to change permant link of a post – set new URL

  • Hi,
    on my start page are three posts, all with the same categorie. Click on one post opens this post:
    E.g. post leads to xyz.com/portfolio-1a/

    I want: Click on one post opens a page with some posts of the same categorie.
    E.g. post leads to xyz.com/category/portfolio-1/ (its in the main menu)

    I tried to change the permant link of the post. It doesn’t work.

    I looked around but I didn’t find a working solution.

  • I don’t think it’s possible to link a category page to the post. I would suggest instead of changing permalinks of the post, you can add a button there linking to the category page.

    Thanks for your replay. My research gives me the same advice. But I think there should be a function – in future – to detour the permanent link of a post to a page.
