How to change post format in this theme?

    Hello, how can I have my posts appear in the same format as the demo with a featured image, a brief section of text and then a ‘continue reading’ button? I don’t want the each entire blog post to appear on the page.

    Thank you. I guess I thought there’d be a way to do this automatically like some themes do because I have 80+ posts already and it’s the only thing I don’t like about this theme.

    Automatic excerpts are available on various layouts of the Pro version of Olsen.

    Thanks, I’ve been thinking of changing to the Pro version. Will it automatically convert my posts into this style or just the new posts if I choose that setting?

    On some templates it will do it automatically, but not on the classic blog listings. However this can be taken care of through our support forum. If you want this to be done automatically on the classic listings as well we can help you get it done very easily.
