How to change posting order from oldest 1st

  • I think I have a question be patient with me if this doesn’t fit as I am very new to WP I am blogging a work of fiction and have started with Prologue then Chapter 1. Of course the next chapter 2 then shows up as the first thing that readers see and so on thru out about 80 chapters. Short of starting at the end of the book I can’t figure out how to post with 1st chapter 1st and all others follow in order chapters not of posting. Is there a way to do that? Also I would like to have the author’s bio show on the front page as well and have info in about but that is a link that has to be activated rather than appearing on front page Any help would be appreciated.   • Default Sort Ascend will reverse sort order. It is a Plug-in – will reverse the sort order.

    Not sure I completely understand the author thing – but if you put the Author info in a Sticky Post (regular Post but stuck at the top, have one or two paragraphs then use the “More” break – click on “More” and the whole bio comes up – You could also have a Page with the Author info on it – Pages titles show all the time (different places depending on Theme)and they click on Page – I use Pages for info that does not change much – the “About Us” is typically a page.

    Thank you that plug in fixed the issue and I still will have to work on the sticky Post?

    Sticky Post is built in – Upper right hand corner

    Publish .. Visibility >> Stick this post to the front page.
