I have a 300×250 ad. I replaced it with a 300×300 images (the size shows 300×300 in AA) yet on the page it still loads (squeezed) as 300×250.

What steps need to be taken to change the size?

    Hi James,

do you have 300×300 entered in the ad options or in the placement options (not for all placements available)?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

On the Edit Ad page, under the “Ad Parameters” section the size shows 300×300. Which showed up automatically after importing the new 300×300 image.

But on the front end it still shows as 300×250

On the “Placements”page, even with all options expanded there’s no options for sizing. Something missing?

    Thanks.

Where can I see this live?

I just upgraded and the new version shows a blue line top left when the mouse is hovered over ads. Is this by design? How do I remove that?

Can I downgrade by just replacing the plugin folder or also have to restore backup of database?

Does all the ads in a placement have to be changed to 300×300? Cannot one ad be a different size?

The new edit button is a feature. It is only visible to admins. I am gathering ideas on how to improve it.

The blue line is probably coming from the theme. I had another user where this was fixed with an update.

I am not sure I understand. Did you find a setting or maybe some CSS that set all ads in a specific placement to 300×300. This is not a feature of the default placements in the free version.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

…I prefer less features honestly. Just simple and works. I don’t use admin bar and I guess my css didn’t show the button only a blue line. I would not have made use of that feature and would have been annoying as I was looking in settings how to disable.

No. I just have 6 ads. 5 are 300×250 and one is 300×300. But the 300×300 ad gets squeezed to 300×250 even though it shows in the ad page as 300×300. That is the only page that has/shows any sizing so not sure why it gets squeezed because the placement and group admin pages has no size options either.

    Thanks for your feedback.

Do you know CSS and HTML enough to check out the code and why you see a blue line?

In any case, I am trying to hide the button, unless an admin hovers over it for more than 2 seconds. That should make it less annoying and still useful to those who need it.

    Thanks,
    Thomas
