How to change styling for Latest News section on the homepage?

Awesome theme with a ton of options available!

I’m trying to change one small area of the blog section of the front page template. If you scroll down to the footer of my site, you’ll see the most recent blog posts under a section titled Latest Ideas + Advice. The posts are truncated and end with […]. This doesn’t look so great, but I cannot figure out what controls this output. I can see there is a shortcode in the HTML calling the recent posts, but I don’t know where to edit it. Preferably, the excerpt would end with just ‘…’ instead of […].
