• I just installed the latest version of WP MS, and accidentally selected sub-directories over sub-domains.

Is there an easy edit in the wp-config I can make to change from one to the other without messing anything up?

From what I’ve read Subdomains are often treated as a separate domain by directories etc, so I suggest definitely subdomains. With subdomains you can also have separate Google analytics accounts, and a lot more.
A subdomain also like a whole separate site, rather than an internal page to most users.

Does anyone have any opinion on one vs the other for SEO purposes? Will always be using to create new sites, and utilizing domain mapping as well.

You can have subdirectories with separate google analytics accounts. Since the GA code has to be inserted on a site by site basis, it’s pretty trivial with WP to have a different one per site ??

SEO has no bearing on Subdomain vs subfolder (Google said they don’t care unless you’re huge like wordpress.com or livejournal). You’ll be able to map domains on either one, create sites etc.

It just matters which ones you like the look of better ??
