    Hello,
My tab title lists my site as T”he O’Pears I”. It is not actually a letter, but that is what it looks like. I just want it to be “The O’Pears”. I have gone to general settings and the site title is listed as “The O’Pears”. I have no idea where that extra line is coming from.
    Can anyone assist?
Here is the site for reference:

Any page you go to will show that extra line in the tab.
    Thanks!

Check your site name in Settings -> General.

I’ve checked the site name and it comes up as “The O’Pears” which is how I would like it to be, but that’s not what actually appears on the site.

That’s how it appears for me…

I’ve checked it on a number of computers, and the line shows up on all of them. It’s not on the website itself, but the tab or top bar of the browser.

And when I ‘view source’ I can see the line is there, but I don’t know how to go about removing it.

I just installed that theme to look at it and what shows up in my tab is the ” Site Title | Tagline ” So it appears that you don’t have a tagline entered in the Settings >> General ?

    WPyogi to the rescue again!
I have added a tagline. I wish I did not need a tagline though because I’d prefer not to have that line there at all. Appreciate the assistance nonetheless!

Well, it’s possible to remove that “divider line” in the header.php file – but you’d really want to create a child theme before getting into file modifications…it’s up to you really :).
