How to change text color in posts

I am brand new to WordPress. I finally posted my first blog on my website (using the Blackoot theme) and my comment text is black which matches my background. I want to change it to white. How do I do that? I know nothing about code (shocker) so I’d rather get an answer in laymans terms. Thanks!
