How to change the color of sticky posts?

I have a similar problem. Prior to update all my images where fine and now they all have this gloomy looking green background that makes the image look faded out, I cannot find how to remove it.

Thanks for the URL! You can change the background color of the sticky posts by using this CSS code under Appearance > Theme Options > Custom CSS:

.home .type-post.sticky {
   background-color: #ff0000;
}

Replace #ff0000 with your desired color value, you can also use color names, e.g., red, green, blue and et cetera.
