how to change the display of category

    I am having a category hierarchy like
    Category1
    Subcategory1
    Subcategory2
    Sub sub category1
    sub sub category2

    But, in the site, when it is getting displayed, it is getting displayed in the aplhabetical order and not in the hierarchial order.

    What should I do to make it displayed in the hierarchial order and where and which file should I make the change?

    Please guide me.
