How to change the filename of an image file?

    Hi, I have hundreds of images imported in Nextgen Gallleries. Now I need to find a way howto change the filenames manually (without redoing the whole import procedure with offline renamed files again). Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

    Hey @blitzgedanken

    There is no way to perform this action in NextGEN, each image you upload populates many fields in the database and if you change the filename, it will effectively break your galleries. It would require big changes to implement this feature into the plugin, so there is not a workaround at the moment I could provide.
