Language files can be downloaded from the sticky thread on my forums (link in the readme file) and the starting day that calendar uses will be governed by the starting day specified on the WordPress General Options page in the admin panel

I had already dit it, I have dowloaded and installed another language file, but the abbreviations of the days still remains in english on the calendar.

Furthermore, there is another bug: we cannot configure the backgound colour the days with events (links appear in yellow only). I have read the forum of the calendar, no solution was given.

I’ve noted these two issues and will push a fix out in the next incremental release

Place the following file in your calendar directory (should be inside wp-content/plugins )

    https://www.kiernaoshea.com/files/calendar-en_ES.mo

Hi Kieran, I am having troubles with lang pack – downloaded from your page and installed as described – /wp-content/plugins/calendar , but translation not working, still in english… can be wrong the name syntax (calendar-cz_CZ.mo) or smth else? thx for advise, support…

Name of the file looks correct, assuming cz_CZ is the name of the locale your WordPress install is set to. If it isn’t change the name of the calendar translation file to match your locale
