How to change the video size

  • Hello There,

    I embedded youtube video code on the followi8ng side right after the welcome title. However, I want to change its size. I tried to do it while embedding it to the page. however, it still shows very small size.

    Could you please let me know how to fix its sizing issue?

    How did you embed the video?

    If you just paste in the link on a line by itself, it should go to the width of the container.

    This is totally up to the theme (or any plugins for video styling), because iframes do not go to the width of the container. Whatever width is coded onto the iframe is used by default. There needs to be extra styling in place in order for it to scale with the window size or change from whatever width is set on the iframe.

    Yes, this can shed some light on how we can better provide an answer. If you are using a plugin you can check their documentation and see if they provide a solution for that.

    Did you copy paste an embed code from YouTube or was it just a link?

    Thanks all. I just did the copy paste stuff and it gave me this default size. I tried to change the dimensions in the iframe area. But with no luck.

    Any other clue please.

    Odd. From a quick look it appears the height/width could be getting removed/stripped on save. Have you tried with any other themes to see if that still happens?
