Unfortunately, changing the validation message isn’t the easiest thing. We’re working to fix this in an upcoming release (https://github.com/CalderaWP/Caldera-Forms/issues/1280 – and you can certainly go in there and add your voice to the choir of requests!). With some technical know-how, you can do it yourself using our guide to custom validation: https://calderaforms.com/doc/creating-custom-validation-processor-caldera-forms/.

As for making the checkbox bigger and changing the border color, you can use the CSS module in customizer to make those changes.
