How to change to WYSIWYG

instead of getting the WYSIWYG which i can understand i get this code stuff…

It sounds to me like you might have selected the “Text” tab at the editor and now simply need to switch back to the “Visual” tab…and then never change back again until/unless you want to edit in HTML. Here is more about all of that:

hi thank you for replying i have searched through all the site and there is no Text tab in the editor so still at a loss all that is on that page is the one line

There should be tabs on the top right of your editing window. You can switch between Visual and Text modes. Hope this helps.

This applies to the Posts and Pages. If you are talking about the editor under Appearance or Plugins, there is no WYSIWYG option. You are supposed to know the code to work on them.

hi thank you but on the post and pages there is no box for visual and text just that one line that i posted beginning to wonder if it would help to take if all off and reload it again thanks

Go to “Users”>”Your Profile” and make sure that “Disable the visual editor when writing” is not checked.
