    Hi v4vivekkumar,

    Thanks for your advice.

    I have a cloned copy of the website on my PC which can be evoked on local browser running internal IP.(without /wordpress/ ).

    and if u want to change url structure then go to
    Settings – Permalinks

    On Permalinks
    [check] Plain [https://internal_ip/?p=123]

    all Permalinks there without /wordpress

    On Godaddy server;

    Permalink Settings
    Common Settings
    All items point to [https://www.example.com/wordpress/….] (greyout)

    I haven’t reinstalled wordpress on my local copy. It is very strange to me?

    Regards
    satimis

    Hi Jacob Peattie,

    Thanks for your advice and link.

    Tried “Velvet Blues Update URLs” plugin.

    -> Velvet Blues Update URLs
    Old URL
    Old Site Address [https://www.example.com/wordpress]

    New URL
    New Site Address [https://example.com}

    -> Update URLs Now

    On browser run [https://example.com]
    it becomes [https://www.example.com/]

    To login as Admin it becomes [https://www.example.com/wordpress/wp-login.php]

    Ran FileZilla to browse Godaddy server;
    Found;
    /public_html/wordpress/wp-config.php

    ....
    define('WP_HOME','https://www.example.com/wordpress');
    define('WP_SITEURL','https://www.example.com/wordpress');
    ....

    If changing them to;

    ...
    define('WP_HOME','https://example.com');
    define('WP_SITEURL','https://example.com');
    ...

    The website couldn’t be viewed correctly, all contens mixed together

    Any advice? Thanks

    Regards
    satimis
