• For Table block, I noticed it is possible to edit the horizontal text alignments but not the vertical text alignment? Is there a way to fix it simply?

    Thank you!

    Hi @gabyu I want to make sure I understand the issue, for the horizontal text alignment I am guessing you are talking about how you can align the text in the column section using the setting on the toolbar.

    What exactly would you like to achieve with the vertical text alignment?

    Thanks, yes the horizontal alignment setting is available but not the vertical.

    How come such a basic setting cannot be available in Gutemberg?

    Is there a way to add this setting to all tables in my theme? I don’t want to use a third party block or plugin just for that…

    vertical-align: top;

    Thanks again

    I see @gabyu so the idea would be to align in different ways for each column, unfortunately, this isn’t possible using block settings. If you can share a link to the page you are working on I can check to see if this is possible using CSS code.

    Additionally, please feel free to add this feature request on Gutenberg’s GitHub, developers will be able to take a look and advise. Let me know if you need assistance: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues
