How to Changed the Title of the Main Page Of the Events.

When looking at the title for our main events page on my local install I get the format of “Events for April 2015 | Local WordPress Dev”

As a suggesion, try switching to a default WordPress theme to see if the title displays properly then. If so, compare how your current theme outputs the title to the way the default WordPress theme does and make adjustments as need.

Still i faced the same problem while testing on the 2 different – different theme. Here you can check https://www.vidhiwebsolutions.com/events/ its title is something like “|Vidhi Web Solutions” and I want to changed it, but i can’t do the same.
Not Only in this theme i have tried it on other 2 theme on local host but the problem is still same.
Will you please suggest us the way how to changed it.

Hi there,

Are you able to check that the SEO plugin you’re using is compatible with custom post type archives? The calendar page is a custom post type archive and will not take the default settings of a standard page.

Have you checked my problem. ?

My main problem is with the main page of Events only, Not with the Internal Pages, Currently i am using “All In One SEO” Plugin, It is Compatible with Custom Post. I don’t have any problem with internal Post of the Event, I have only Problem with the Main Event Calender Page.

I’m sorry to disappoint here, but based on the way Yoast SEO handles titles, there are some tricky limitations with making a custom title on the main calendar page.

Can you share a link to your actual main Events page? The title should at least be “Events for April 2015 | XYZ”, which may not be ideal, but should work on your site.
