    Love this plugin. Thank you.

Small problem: Is there a way to check your database for an IP address being blocked that I don’t think should be blocked? Can I get it whitelisted in your database?

My questions come from my experience today. At home, I turned on all the options on the Security tab setting. Went to a new location. Tried signing on to dashboard but got blocked. Came home and was able to sign on again. My conclusion is that the IP address at the new location is considered bad by WPBruiser. The IP address at the new location is provided by a major ISP in Australia. To my knowledge it is not using a proxy server. I want to know why it is being blocked. I’ve checked major blacklist websites and it is clean.

As a result of my experience, I’ve relaxed the settings on the Security tab (unchecked proxy and web attacker).

    Hi @dccharron,

The only way to see if a particular IP is reported as dangerous proxy or web attacker is to check the Reports. Over there, the reason for blocking a login attempt should be: Anonymous Proxy or Web Attacker.
Also the IP will have the “Do Not Enter” red icon.
It seems like somehow that particular address was reported as dangerous and it is included on WPBruiser’s database. There are more than 500.000 such addresses.

Yes, by white listing that particular IP will work for you. Just go to Security tab and WhiteList the IP. WPBruiser will never block any requests that come from an trusted IP.

Could you please send me that IP through https://www.wpbruiser.com/contact

    Mihai:

Many thanks. I checked the Report tab and found the details tab. Very nice reports. I have sent you the IP address I mentioned using your contact form.
